Original Infineon SLE5542 Smart card
The SLE5542 smart card replaces the SLE4442 model and is one of the best-selling smart cards of recent years. While ensuring full application compatibility, it offers 256 bytes of memory and write protection.
Smart card with protected chip
The SLE5542 microchip is equipped with a write-protection system and a programmable security code (PIN code) that guarantee secure access to the data contained in its memory. The internal organisation of the chip at 1024 x 8 bits allows the write protection of each bit to be individually programmed. The memory can thus be repeatedly written to and erased bit by bit. A smart card that is easy to implement in your applications.
White paper in standard format compatible with the card printer
In standard format 86x54 mm, with a thickness of 0.76 mm and conforming to ISO 7810-CR80, the laminated PVC smart card is printable. It can be printed on both sides, except of course for the position of the chip contact surface. It is compatible with all card printers and some card printers for data encoding (printers with contact station for smart cards).
Offset-printed smart cards
As with all other PVC cards, you can order your smart card blank or printed with a customised graphic of your choice. Contact us and send us your vectorial or 300dpi minimum resolution visual to produce your printed smart card. The printed card is of course still customisable with data to be added (names, serial number, etc.) via your card printer.
