Online handling instructions for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)

All requests of products send or return to Infordata must be handled through the RMA Authorization system. All shipments coming from clients which are lacking in RMA Authorization will be rejected to the sender. Here are the procedure instructions:

1) Log-in on www.infordatadealers.com website.
In case of log-in difficulties, use the Forgot the Password? function. We suggest to retrieve log-in data by entering your VAT Number; on the confirmation page, the email address associated with you will be reported. The password will be sent to this email address.

2) Enter the “MY ACCOUNT” section and select the “RMA” section.

3) Enter a new RMA by clicking on “Request a new RMA”

Select the type of search to do: By Serial or By Order
Enter the serial or Select an Order
Select the “Type of Request”
Select a “Reason”
Add any possible extra notes
Click on Send request

A confirmation email will be sent with the RMA number. Keep these information as reference, later – within 24 hours – you will receive a reply with the possible RMA authorization.

4) RMA Progress / Approval / Modification / Cancellation / Replies
Entering the “RMA” section it’s possible to display the Infordata Technical Department replies. Point out modifications, leave comments and attach files for more details (photos for example) or Cancel the RMA request. The RMA will be approved by the Infordata Technical Department within 24 hours of receipt. A unique Ticket is associated to each RMA.

Following the RMA approval, it will be necessary printing the RMA authorization paper
Check the RMA representative and the address to which the fixed or changed goods will be sent
Insert the printed paper (RMA authorization) in the package to send
Confirm the item shipment with your DDT or Dispatch note stating the RMA number

5) Following the RMA confirmation, a summary email will be sent to you. Through the “RMA” Section you can track the RMA progress or ask for updates by entering a new comment.
